Limited post delivery service starts
国语高清videossexotvPost Office staff have started a reduced delivery service, the Government said today.
国语高清videossexotvA spokeswoman for the Ministry for the Cabinet Office said that postal employees were delivering mail as “part of a limited, yet critical service”.
国语高清videossexotvShe added: “As public officers, Bermuda’s postal employees have been provided with an exemption to operate.”
The spokeswoman said that “critical mail”, including pension cheques and Ministry of Education learning materials for school pupils, were among the items that would be delivered.
国语高清videossexotvShe added that the safety of delivery staff and the public was a “paramount priority”.
The spokeswoman said: “All postal employees who are engaged in residential deliveries only deliver to mailboxes which are located on the boundaries of properties.
“There is no interaction with the public.”
国语高清videossexotvShe added that all staff on duty over the shelter in place regulations had “personal protective equipment, inclusive of masks, gloves and hand sanitiser”.
